John's career spans twenty years, involving employment in various industries such as Transportation, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Retail. He is also a specialist in human resources (HR) and labor relations.
John received his bachelor's degree in Management and Finance from Louisiana State University in 1986. Since then he has worked for notable national and international companies such as United Parcel Service, RPS (now Federal Express Home Delivery), the J. M. Smucker Company, Exel Logistics North America, and most recently, Mervyn's, a division of Target Corporation.
John is adept at handling labor issues such as union avoidance, labor management, HR strategic planning, and organizational development and training. John is an international traveler and having lived in both France and Germany, he is fluent in French and conversational in German..
